Centerville is a city of 25 000 in south west Ohio. Explorer Benjamin Robbins founded Centerville in 1796 and chose to name it after his hometown of Centreville, New Jersey. Centerville has the largest collection of early stone houses in Ohio and many are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
