Marina is a retired school teacher and a vegetarian for 57 of her 67 years. She sends a card of my zodiac sign - Belier (Aries in French). This particular lithograph was created by Raymond Peynet (1908-1999). Peynet's artwork, found on ceramics, posters, jewelry, postcards, and postage stamps - feature a couple of lovers.  Marina is from Alba-la-Romaine in south-east France. It is a small commune of just under 1500 people. It has ancient roots with its founding at the beginning of the Roman Empire, but there is evidence of pre-historic people living in the area.
