Julie sent me a beautiful card of a Haida rendering of the Trickster. In the Pacific Northwest, the Trickster is considered a raven. Trickster the Raven stole fire from the gods. It is seen as a jokester or prankster. Oka is a village located outside of Montréal, along the north bank of the Ottawa River. Traditional owners of the area include the Mohawk, Algonquin, and the Nipissing.
