It is an independent professional baseball league of four teams found on Shikoku. The league was founded in 2005 by for Nippon Professional Baseball star Hiromichi Ishige. In 2015, an all-star team of Shikoku Island League traveled to North America and played every team in the Can-Am League in North America. The all-stars went 6 wins against 10 losses.
