Alessandro sent me a very cool card of an aerial view of Ventotene from the Pontine Islands. The buildings all seem to be connected by beautifully and brightly coloured buildings.  Alessandra is a postman from Terre del Reno, a small comune of just over 10 000 residents. Terre del Reno was created in 2018 by amalgamating Cavacurta and Camairago. The Pontine Islands are found off the coast of the Lazio region. Only two of the islands are populated - Ponza and Ventotene - with about 4000 residents. Tiny vineyards, wild herbs and flowers, and secluded beaches and grottos make the islands a popular tourist destination. I love the stamp and the postmark on the card. The stamp is a drawing of the Abbazia di Sant'Andrea in Vercelli.
