Mount Pleasant is small, Iowa city of just over 9200 people, located in south east Iowa. It was founded in 1835. The first female lawyer in the United States, Arabella Mansfield, spent her childhood in Mount Pleasant, and then attended Iowa Wesleyan College. Due to the American Civil War, universities were admitting more women into universities. At first, she taught at Des Moines Conference Seminary in Indianola. She returned to Mount Pleasant after a year to marry Melvin Mansfield. Her husband encouraged her to pursue her ambition to study law. She took the Iowa law bar exam in 1869 and passed in with high scores. Mansfield challenged the law that didn't permit women to join the bar. 3276 - Essen, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany

This character is from a German book series called  Die Känguru Chroniken (the Kangaroo Chornicles). The story starts out with a kangaroo ringing the doorbell and asking the person for ingredients for making pancakes, and then needing the stove, and then moving in where they then become flat mates. The kangaroo is a communist and doesn't seem to want to pursue stable employment. Kangaroo's flatmate is Marc-Ewe and apparently the two of them bicker, are jealous of one another, and spend a lot of time with each other. The Kangaroo is a Vietnam War veteran, fighting on the side of the Viet Cong.  The Kangaroo Chronicles was made into a movie combining live action and computer animation. There was a sequel released in 2022.

3274 - Bad Nauheim, Hesse, Germany

Beautiful photo of some sand dunes along a beach scene. The sender says that she likes to be by the sea.  Bad Nauheim was near a command complex for Adolph Hitler during World War II.  The complex was called Adlerhorst "the Eagle's Nest." Bad Nauheim was spared from intense bombing, however, as American president Franklin Roosevelt had spent some time there before the war and loved it, so he ordered it spared. The American Third Army occupied the area on March 29, 1945. It was used as a residential area for the American occupiers. Elvis Presely lived in Bad Nauheim from 1958-1960 while serving in the US Army. He was assigned to the 1st Medium Tank Battalion, 32d Armor, 3d Armored Division. Because of this, Bad Nauheim has hosted an Elvis festival since 2002.

A Lego card from California! The sender is from Murrieta which is a city of about 111 000 people. It is a bedroom community located in the centre of the Los Angeles-San Diego Mega-Region. Between 2000 and 2010, it was one of the fastest growing cities in California. It was also named the second safest community of over 100 000 people in California. Californio ranchero Juan Murrieta founded the town.  Located in the north-east part of Murrieta are the Murrieta Hogbacks. The hogbacks are Miocene basalt capped granitic and date back to 10.4 to 10.8 million years old.

3272 - Taipei, Taiwan

The sender wanted me to share a ritual or relaxation song. I don't really have a specific song but if I need to lie down and relax, I like to find a blues playlist, or soft jazz playlist to listen to. I've also turned an opera playlist on, or something classical. Usually when I lie down, one of the cats will lie on my chest and their purring often times slows things down for me.
