The postcard features a lovely painting of Jiuzhaigou (九寨沟), a nature reserve and national park in Sichuan Province, China. It was added to UNESCO’s World Heritage List in 1992 and designated a World Biosphere Reserve in 1997. Tourism has grown considerably since the park opened. In 2024, Jiuzhaigou welcomed 5.11 million visitors, with more than 30,000 people visiting per day during the peak summer season. Improved transportation links, including the opening of Jiuzhai Huanglong Airport, have made the park more accessible to visitors.
