This card is a multi-view card of Cochem and Mosel. Cochem is a village of 5000 and was first mentioned in documents as Villia cuchema  in 866. Mosel, known as Zell, has about 4300 people. It was founded by the Romans in CE 70.  The Cochem Imperial Castle features at the centre of the postcard.

Chemnitz - known as Karl-Marx-Stadt from 1953 - 1990 - is a city of almost 250 000 people. It is a part of the Central German Metropolitan Region. It is located in the Ore Mountain Basin. The economy is based on medium-sized companies, with the heavy industrial sectors of mechanical engineering, metal processing, and vehicle manufacturing.
