What a creative and great card. The sender took a birthday card made for a third birthday, cut off the back half, and sent it, adding their own touches to the front to make it a World Postcard Day card!
Bendigo is a city of 101 000 people in the state of Victoria. It started as a sheep station, but gold was founded in Bendigo Creek in 1851 and started the Victorian gold rush. There is still gold mining in the area, but it is no longer the main economic activity. Healthcare, finance, tourism, commerce, education, food processing, along with other primary industries now make up much of Bendigo's economic activity.
