4409 - Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India

Chennai is home to the Chennai Super Kings (CSK), a professional Twenty20 cricket team that competes in the Indian Premier League (IPL). The team was one of the original eight franchises when the league was established in 2008 and plays its home matches at the M. A. Chidambaram Stadium.

CSK has won five IPL titles, making it one of the most successful teams in the league’s history, and has appeared in 10 finals. The team was suspended for two seasons following its involvement in the 2013 IPL spot-fixing and betting case.

In January 2022, CSK became the first unicorn sports enterprise—meaning a startup valued at over US$1 billion. Today, the franchise is valued at approximately US$1.15 billion.

The M. A. Chidambaram Stadium is one of the oldest cricket venues in India. Established in 1916, it has undergone several renovations and upgrades over the years and now has a seating capacity of around 38
200 spectators.

One man attempted to climb onto a tank and block the road with his body (he was not hurt). However, the military equipment continued to move, and Russian forces fired several shots into the air. John Gotti (1940-2002) was the mafioso and boss of the Gambino crime family in New York City. After ordering the killing of Gambino boss Paul Catellano in 1985, he took over the family and led what was the United States' most powerful crime syndicate. He was known as The Teflon Don  after three high profile trials in the 1980s resulted in acquittals. Later it was revealed that the trials had been tainted by jury tampering, juror misconduct, and...
