Principality Stadium is the national stadium in Wales and home to the Welsh Rugby Team and Welsh Football Team. The stadium was originally built to host the 1999 Rugby World Cup. Since then, it has hosted many big events such as the Tsunami Relief Concert, the Speedway Grand Prix of Great Britain, the FA Cup, as well as football matches during the 2012 Summer Olympics. Taylor Swift played the stadium on 18 June 2024 as part of her The Eras Tour.
Principality can hold almost 74 000 people for rugby and football. The most people in the stadium was just over 78 000 for the Anthony Joshua versus Carlos Takam boxing matching on 28 October 2017.
The sender is from Welshpool, a market town of about 6000 people. In the Welsh language, the town is called Y Trallwng, which translates to "the marshy or sinking land."
