This is a photo of the L'Adorazione dei Magi, found in the Catacomb of Priscilla on the site of the Via Salaria in Rome. The Catabombs of Priscilla is over 11.27 kilometers of catacombs. It was used for thousands of Christian burials from the late 100s to the 300s.
The walls feature some of the earliest known frescos of Biblical scenes, especially of Christian women.
On the back of the postcard, the sender painted a lawn bowler and two lawn bowls! Very cool!
